Questpro is partnered with a global insurance services firm in search of a Solution Architect to lead engineering delivery, pre-sales solutioning, and client advisory for large-scale insurance technology programs.

Core functions:

• Lead and govern large engineering programs — complex builds, modernization, and integration transformation across multiple lines of business
• Own delivery predictability, quality metrics, and architecture-led scalability/security/resiliency
• Lead solutioning for strategic pursuits: discovery, target architecture, costing, RFP responses, and proposals
• Align solutions to client transformation roadmaps and strategic goals
• Serve as trusted advisor to VP/C-suite client stakeholders; lead steering committees and architecture review boards

Target experience profile:

• 15+ years in application engineering/delivery leadership, 5+ in a leadership role (Delivery/Practice/Portfolio/Architecture)
• 5+ years in P&C/Reinsurance, with hands-on familiarity with core platforms (Guidewire, Duck Creek, Socotra, or Origami)
• Proven leadership of large, multi-year, multi-vendor programs with distributed teams
• Strong exec stakeholder experience with US clients (UK/Australia exposure a plus)
• Broad technical range: cloud (Azure), APIs/integration, web apps, AI/GenAI exposure — architecture-level, not hands-on coding
• Bachelor's/Master's in Engineering, CS, or equivalent
