Highly respected and long-standing Dallas based insurance agency is seeking an Employee Benefits Assistant Account Manager!
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an insurance agency environment
- Understanding of employee benefits coverages
- Current license preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
· Provide support to assigned Producer(s) and Account Manager(s)
· Maintain client files in Applied Epic / Netdocs in an orderly and up-to-date manner according to Agency
standards
· Work with client support team to develop and manage renewal timelines
· Assist in managing client/vendor expectations and ensure timely delivery of requests for clients, vendors, and internal partners
· Assist client support team in client’s renewal life-cycle – gather census information, prepare requests for
proposals, coordinate vendor responses & negotiations, create proposal, assist in HRIS platform setup, work with client and carriers on any new implementations, develop all client deliverables and post enrollment audits
· Process eligibility – new hire enrollments, terminations, and open enrollment transactions
· Day-to-day client service – research and resolve benefits, billing, and/or claims issues, answer client
questions thoroughly and timely
· Claims assistance – walk clients through process, including claim submission to carrier, follow-up, and overall
communication
