Mammography Technologist – Full Time, Days
Location: Houston, TX
Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Shift Structure: 4×10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, plus one Saturday per month (clinic closes at 1:30 PM)
Work Setting: On-site, outpatient breast imaging center

About the Role
Join a modern, patient-centered breast imaging center serving one of the most advanced healthcare communities in The Woodlands area. This is an exciting opportunity for a Mammography Technologist who values compassion, precision, and innovation in patient care.
The facility recently completed a comprehensive renovation, offering state-of-the-art imaging suites and an environment that supports collaboration, learning, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams, ensuring compliance with all radiation safety and quality assurance standards.
- Prepare and position patients appropriately, explaining procedures with empathy and professionalism.
- Monitor and maintain accurate patient information within imaging systems.
- Perform daily quality control checks and assist with accreditation processes such as ACR renewals.
- Report equipment issues or incidents promptly to imaging leadership.
- Take part in departmental call rotation when needed.
- Promote a safe and caring environment for patients, colleagues, and visitors.
- Act as a preceptor or mentor to newer staff members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- Graduate of an accredited Mammography Technology program

Texas Medical Board (MRT) license – active or temporary

ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certifications – required

BLS or ACLS certification – required
- Prior mammography experience strongly preferred
- Ability to lift and maneuver patients safely with team assistance
