About the Role
Avento Health is a recruiting agency partnering with a PHP/IOP treatment center in the Delray Beach, Florida area. Our client provides structured, trauma-informed care for individuals navigating substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health conditions, and process addictions, including sex addiction, gambling addiction, and pornography addiction.
This is a hands-on Behavioral Health Technician role with a strong growth path. The client is looking for someone who can support day-to-day client care while also helping improve program operations, workflows, structure, and consistency. This is not a routine support role. It is a meaningful opportunity for someone ambitious, dependable, and eager to grow within a behavioral health treatment setting.
For the right person, this role has strong advancement potential. A candidate who performs well, demonstrates sound judgment, takes initiative, earns trust quickly, and shows leadership potential will have a high likelihood of moving into greater operational responsibility in a relatively short period of time. The long-term goal is for the right person to grow into an Operations Manager role as the program continues to expand.
The program currently serves an adult male client population, with many clients coming from Jewish cultural and religious backgrounds. Candidates do not need to be Jewish, but they must be culturally sensitive, respectful, and comfortable working thoughtfully within that context.
