Orthopedic Hand Surgeon – Hospital-Affiliated Opportunity (Hobart & Valparaiso, IN)


Location: Hobart and Valparaiso, Indiana (45 minutes from Downtown Chicago)

Position Type: Full-Time, Inpatient and Outpatient

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 1:6 Call Rotation

Relocation Assistance: Available

About the Opportunity

Avento Health is recruiting a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Hand Surgeon to join a well-established orthopedic team located in Hobart and Valparaiso, Indiana, within the Greater Chicagoland area.

Position Highlights

  • Hospital-affiliated group with strong referral base and growth potential
  • 1:6 call rotation shared among system orthopedic surgeons
  • Practice sites in Hobart and Valparaiso (both within 45 minutes of Chicago)
  • Inpatient and outpatient mix with flexibility to shape your practice
  • EPIC EMR (HIMSS Stage VII – top 5% of hospitals nationally)
  • Nurse practitioner support across hospital and clinic settings

  • Opportunity to develop subspecialty interests within a high-volume orthopedic program


Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified / Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery with fellowship training or significant experience in Hand Surgery
  • Eligible for Indiana medical licensure
  • Excellent communication, surgical, and teamwork skills
