About the Opportunity

Avento Health is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurologist to join a well-established, hospital-employed physician group located just 30 minutes from downtown Chicago.

This position offers an exceptional opportunity to practice general neurology — with the flexibility to develop subspecialty interests — in a supportive, collegial environment. You'll join an expanding neuroscience program within a not-for-profit regional health system known for clinical excellence and advanced technology.

Position Highlights

• Hospital-employed model with long-term practice stability
• Mix of inpatient and outpatient neurology
• 1:6 call rotation with shared coverage among a collegial neurology team
• 15–25 clinic patients per day
• Outpatient offices in Munster and Schererville, Indiana
• EPIC EMR system (HIMSS Stage VII – top 5% nationally)
• Subspecialty interests (e.g., epilepsy, movement disorders, stroke, neurophysiology) encouraged and supported
• Collaborative multidisciplinary team including hospitalists, advanced practice providers, and nursing support

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
• Eligible for Indiana medical licensure
• Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based neurological care
