Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) – Writing Specialist
Avento Health is recruiting a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) – Writing Specialist for a community-based developmental disability services organization in Illinois. This writing-focused position supports adults with developmental disabilities through high-quality service-plan documentation, reporting, record review, and coordination of individualized supports.
Location & Hybrid Schedule
This is a hybrid Illinois position. Candidates may live anywhere in the state but must be able to report to the same assigned Illinois office one day each week. The assigned office may be in Romeoville or a regional office serving Chicago/Skokie, East Moline/Quad Cities, Peoria, Bloomington, or Springfield. The remaining four workdays are remote. This is not a fully remote position.
Salary
$62,000–$68,000 annually.

Work Environment
Most work is completed remotely in a confidential setting, with one required on-site day each week at the employee’s assigned Illinois office. Scheduled hours are based on program needs and may occasionally require response to urgent situations. The position may involve interaction with individuals who display challenging or potentially unsafe behaviors, extended periods of sitting, and occasional lifting or movement assistance.
