About the Opportunity

Avento Health is recruiting a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician for a full-time, outpatient opportunity located in Hammond, Indiana, just one hour from downtown Chicago.

Position Highlights

• Outpatient-only practice — no inpatient duties required
• 1:4 call rotation with strong team coverage
• Monday–Friday schedule (no weekends required)
• EPIC EMR – HIMSS Stage VII certified (top 5% of hospitals nationally)
• Established referral network and robust patient volume
• HRSA Workforce Student Loan Repayment eligibility
• Located within a federally qualified health center (FQHC) look-alike organization serving Northwest Indiana

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Eligible for Indiana medical licensure
• Commitment to community-based primary care and patient-centered medicine
