Summary:
The Senior Sales Executive role focuses on driving growth in the healthcare sector by developing opportunities with hospitals, healthcare systems, and industry partners. The position manages lead generation, builds and maintains a strong sales pipeline, and fosters relationships with key decision-makers. It involves overseeing solution design, proposals, and RFP responses, preparing contracts for distributed antenna systems (DAS) installations and services, and ensuring smooth project delivery from sales through installation. The role also includes representing company at industry events, delivering technical presentations, and traveling up to 75% to meet with clients and align DAS solutions to their needs.
Essential Functions:
- Identify and develop new opportunities with hospitals, healthcare systems, and industry partners.
- Manage and qualify leads generated through Marketing Programs.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline and lead generation strategy.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers across healthcare organizations.
- Guide and oversee solution designs, proposals, and RFP/RFI responses, ensuring timely delivery.
- Prepare proposals for cellular, in-building DAS installations, service contracts, and maintenance programs.
- Manage the full project lifecycle, overseeing all stages from initial sales to final installation, ensuring seamless coordination and successful implementation.
- Promote company at industry and trade events by effectively communicating company offerings, demonstrating industry expertise, and expanding market awareness.
- Engage with customers to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions, including technical presentations that highlight the value of company’s DAS offerings.
- Travel as much as 75% of the time to interview potential clients and discuss expectations of DAS design and coverage objectives.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least two (2) years of sales, business development, or client engagement experience in Healthcare Technology and/or IT services.
- Strong understanding of Healthcare Technology or Healthcare IT solutions.
- Proven track record of selling value-driven technical solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills; able to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset with a strong focus on customer service.
- Proactive, entrepreneurial approach to business development and client relationship-building.
- Established industry connections within hospitals and healthcare systems.
Preferred skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred.
- Five (5) years of sales, business development, or client engagement experience in Healthcare Technology and/or IT services.
- Experience selling technical systems such as DAS, telecommunications, or related IT infrastructure solutions.
- Background in solution-based selling and managing long sales cycles.
- Experience developing and leading channel partnerships.
