Transforming Retail Delivery

At SHIPSI, we help retailers create better delivery experiences by connecting customers, retailers, and delivery partners through innovative logistics solutions. We work with leading retail brands to solve complex delivery challenges, helping businesses deliver faster, more reliably, and with greater flexibility.

Joining SHIPSI means being part of a growing company where your work directly impacts customers, partners, and the future of retail delivery. A category nobody owns yet. Carriers optimize for speed and cost. Shipsi is changing the rules of the game: we take a cost center and turn into a better experience for customers and shippers alike — so the work here is genuinely new, not a better version of something that already exists. Enterprise traction, startup surface area. Shipsi is live with global enterprise deployments through our logistics partnerships and with premium DTC brands directly.

Small team, senior scope. Ownership is wide by default. What we build ships, and you’ll see your work has real impact on customers.

We are seeking an experienced Channel Manager to own and grow a portfolio of high-impact strategic partnerships at our client Shipsi. This is a business development and it is a relationship management position focused on maximizing the success of established, enterprise-scale partners.

The ideal candidate has experience managing a large, enterprise-scale retail or logistics partner, understands both technical integrations and commercial partnership management, and thrives in fast-paced startup environments where processes are still being built.

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Currently in Partner Management, Channel Management, or Strategic Alliances.
  • Working at a company whose partners are major retailers or logistics providers.
  • Experienced managing large, high-value strategic partners rather than dozens of smaller accounts.
  • Comfortable discussing APIs, integrations, and technical implementation while remaining commercially focused.
  • Equally effective in executive relationship management and hands-on execution.
  • Entrepreneurial, adaptable, and excited to build new processes in a startup environment.
  • Data-driven, customer-focused, and highly collaborative.

The successful candidate will manage complex, high-touch relationships with major retailers and logistics organizations, serving as the primary point of contact for cross-functional partner teams. Success in this role requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, support partner go-to-market efforts and facilitate technical integrations that drive mutual business outcomes.

Strategic Partner Management

  • Own the end-to-end relationship with one or more large strategic channel partners.
  • Develop and execute joint business plans that drive mutual revenue growth and customer success.
  • Serve as the executive point of contact for partner leadership teams.
  • Build long-term strategic roadmaps and identify opportunities for expansion.

Revenue & Commercial Growth

  • Drive partner-sourced revenue through joint go-to-market initiatives.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, incentive structures, and business terms.
  • Track partnership KPIs including revenue, adoption, pipeline, and partner engagement.
  • Identify new growth opportunities within existing partnerships.

Cross-functional Execution

  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
  • Coordinate product launches, operational improvements, and partner enablement.
  • Remove blockers and ensure successful execution across multiple teams.

Technical Partnership Management

  • Work alongside engineering teams on API, platform, and systems integrations.
  • Translate technical requirements into business outcomes for partner stakeholders.
  • Understand integration timelines, testing, and deployment processes without being an engineer.

What we would like to see:

  • 5-10 years of experience and currently working in Partner Management, Channel Management, or Strategic Alliances preferably at a company whose partners include retailers, logistics providers, or supply chain organizations.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale strategic partners or channels, rather than a broad portfolio of smaller accounts.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to discuss APIs, integrations, and implementation alongside product and engineering teams.
  • Commercially minded, with a demonstrated ability to drive partner-sourced revenue and execute joint business plans.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment where processes are still being built and ambiguity is expected.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate across large partner organizations and internal cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to own executive-level relationships and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating business terms and partnership agreements.
  • Excellent project management and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment.
  • Experience working with enterprise retailers or third-party logistics (3PL) providers.

Salary: $120,000-150,000 annually, based on experience, skills, and location.
