About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Design Director to join our team. They will be responsible for collaboratively leading the vision, strategy, and execution of design across all digital marketing channels. This role blends hands-on design direction and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the delivery of world-class user and brand experiences. The Design Director serves as both a strategic partner and a creative catalyst, driving alignment between business objectives, user needs, and design innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Design Excellence And Leadership
- Lead multidisciplinary teams across UX, UI, visual, and brand, to deliver delightful and cohesive user experiences.
- Define and uphold the overall design vision, ensuring alignment with company goals and standards.
- Oversee the full design process, from discovery and concept development to final execution and delivery — ensuring consistency, usability, and brand integrity.
- Provide hands-on creative direction, feedback, and mentorship to elevate the quality and craft of the design team.
- Advocate for design excellence and user-centered thinking across the organization.
- Develop scalable design systems, workflows, and standards to improve efficiency and maintain brand integrity.
- Stay current on design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to guide innovation and inspire the team.
User Research And Strategy
- Conduct and synthesize user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to inform design decisions.
- Develop user personas, journey maps, and information architecture that reflect deep understanding of user needs.
- Use data and analytics to measure design effectiveness and iterate on solutions.
Collaboration
- Fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and accountability for top design talent.
- Partner with product, marketing, and engineering leaders to translate strategic objectives into actionable design outcomes.
- Partner with engineering to ensure design vision can be and has been executed effectively.
- Present design concepts and strategies to executive stakeholders, with clarity and confidence.
Qualifications
Required
- 8+ years of professional design experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional design initiatives across digital platforms and/or brand ecosystems.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic design thinking, problem solving, and execution.
- Deep understanding of user experience principles, interaction design, and visual design best practices.
- Ability to balance creative vision with business objectives and technical constraints.
- Experience conducting user research and translating insights into actionable design solutions.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

- Comfortable managing ambiguity and driving clarity across teams.
- Strategic thinker who connects design impact to business outcomes.
- Track record of shipping successful products that achieved measurable business and user outcomes.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
