About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to join our team and be a key player in the design of exceptional mobile application and web experiences. In this role, you'll be responsible for crafting intuitive, user-centered designs that delight our customers and drive business results across iOS and Android platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design Excellence

• Contribute towards the design processes for mobile applications, from initial concept through final implementation
• Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design vision
• Establish and maintain design systems and patterns that ensure consistency across mobile platforms
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define product requirements and translate them into elegant design solutions

User Research & Strategy

• Conduct and synthesize user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to inform design decisions
• Develop user personas, journey maps, and information architecture that reflect deep understanding of user needs
• Use data and analytics to measure design effectiveness and iterate on solutions
• Advocate for users throughout the product development lifecycle

Collaboration

• Partner with engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and quality implementation
• Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders at all levels
• Contribute to the evolution of design processes and best practices

Qualifications

Required

• 5+ years of professional UI/UX design experience, with at least 3 years focused on mobile application design
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in mobile-first design for iOS and Android platforms
• Deep understanding of mobile design patterns, platform-specific guidelines (Human Interface Guidelines, Material Design), and accessibility standards
• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
• Experience conducting user research and translating insights into actionable design solutions
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and adaptive layouts
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to articulate design decisions
• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Preferred

• Knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript) and understanding of technical constraints
• Experience with prototyping tools
• Track record of shipping successful products that achieved measurable business and user outcomes
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
• Understanding of animation and micro-interactions in mobile interfaces
