Personal Lines Account Manager – Independent Insurance Agency (Stevens Point, WI)

A well-established independent insurance agency with multiple offices across Wisconsin is seeking an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join their Stevens Point team. About the Role

The Personal Lines Account Manager works closely with producers, carriers, and clients to manage renewals, market accounts, process policy changes, and ensure smooth day-to-day servicing of personal insurance accounts. You’ll play a key part in maintaining strong relationships, identifying coverage needs, and ensuring each client receives the highest level of personalized service.


Key Responsibilities


  • Manage a book of personal lines accounts, including renewals, endorsements, billing inquiries, and policy servicing.
  • Prepare submissions and market new and renewal business to appropriate carriers.
  • Quote, analyze, and recommend coverage options tailored to client needs.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and resolve service issues efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the agency management system.
  • Collaborate with agents, underwriters, and carriers to achieve optimal client outcomes.
  • Educate clients on coverage details, policy updates, and industry trends.
  • Participate in client meetings and agency events as needed.


Qualifications


  • Minimum 3 years of personal lines account management experience in an independent agency environment.
  • Active Wisconsin Property & Casualty license (or ability to obtain).
  • Strong understanding of personal lines insurance products, rating, and underwriting.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency with agency management systems and standard office software.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple client needs efficiently and accurately.
