Clutch is looking for an experienced SEO Specialist for a client of ours. This role is designed for a strategic thinker who balances technical precision with creative content optimization. You will be responsible for navigating the evolving search landscape, moving beyond traditional SEO into the realm of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Auditing: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues impacting site performance while simultaneously identifying content gaps to improve rankings and user intent matching.
• Data-Driven Deliverables: Analyze search data to determine which specific deliverables (audits, maps, or reports) are necessary to meet unique client objectives.
• GEO & Innovation: Optimize web presence for AI-driven search environments and LLMs, ensuring brand visibility in generative search results.
• Content Strategy: Partner with creative teams to dictate content requirements that satisfy both search engine algorithms and the target audience's needs.
• Client Management: Act as a primary point of contact, owning client relationships and presenting technical findings in a clear, actionable, and "client-ready" format.
• Workflow Automation: Leverage modern AI tools to streamline SEO tasks, from keyword clustering to technical site crawls, increasing efficiency and insight depth.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3–4 years of dedicated SEO experience. Agency side experience is preferred.
• Technical Mastery: Deep proficiency with industry-standard tools including SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
• Modern Search Knowledge: Demonstrated experience in traditional SEO combined with recent, practical application of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) techniques.
• Analytical Skills: The ability to translate raw data into sophisticated, high-quality deliverables that drive client strategy.
• Account Management: Experience being a direct client lead, with the professional maturity to manage expectations and communicate project ROI.
• AI Tooling: Recent experience integrating AI-powered platforms into the SEO workflow to enhance data analysis and content production.
