REFORM Alliance was born out of the #FreeMeek movement and has since grown into a national force for criminal justice reform. Dedicated to transforming probation and parole, REFORM works to change laws, systems, and culture so that people can return to their communities with dignity, create meaningful pathways to work, and access the tools they need to thrive. By tackling unjust barriers in supervision, REFORM seeks to replace a punitive system with one that is restorative, accountable, and centered on rehabilitation.
The Opportunity
REFORM is seeking a Chief of Staff to serve as a trusted strategic partner to the CEO. This role is responsible for driving organizational alignment, managing enterprise-level priorities, and ensuring the effective execution of the CEO’s agenda across the organization. Acting as an extension of the CEO, the Chief of Staff provides structure, clarity, and momentum - allowing the CEO to focus on vision-setting, leadership, and external engagement. The ideal candidate is a disciplined executor and strategic thinker who can anticipate the CEO’s needs, synthesize complex information, and surface insights to support strong decision-making.
Location, Compensation and Benefits
The Chief of Staff will be based in REFORM Alliance’s New York City office and is expected to work in person four to five days per week. Some travel (10-25%) will be required, including evenings and weekends for events and convenings.
Salary will be in the range of $220,000–$275,000, based on experience and qualifications. REFORM offers a competitive benefits package that includes:
