The Vice President over Business Transformation and Process Optimization will be a strategic level leader and builder responsible for driving enterprise-wide process consistency and operational excellence across multiple product lines, mainframe systems, and business applications. This role will ensure that processes, tools, and best practices are standardized, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across the organization and its affiliated entities.
Business areas include: Life Underwriting, New Business Operations, PMO, Sales Administration, Agent services
This role will focus on and drive automation efforts and instant fulfillment initiatives in Life Underwriting and the other areas listed above. Sales/agent production lifecycle management process optimization, Risk scoring, building out a new PMO team/COE, working with IT, strategy and planning, building the transformation inventory and portfolio (develop a comprehensive and organized center and decisioning tools for all active and planned strategic initiatives across the org., a structured visible and governed portfolio), developing solutions and planning the execution.
Areas of immediate and long term focus include: uniform process optimization, streamline and automate, life underwriting automation and transformation, road-mapping and developing standardized process best practices, developing frameworks and operating models for (UW, NB, Sales Admin), systems and application optimization for efficiency, implementing a continuous improvement culture, develop and run the PMO related to these, performance analytics/KPI and measurement, data driven decision making initiatives (AI, Robotic Process Automation, etc.),
Some of the tech involved: Milliman Risk Scoring (mortality risks for fluidless programs), iPipeLine Resonant (Auto UW and Case Management, Digital workflows, rules engine), WorkDay
This Senior level Executive and Advisory role will lead a small team to start and then build from there as the implementation of the vision and strategy. This roles reports to an EVP and will work very closely with EVP (UW, NB and Sales Admin) and other Sr leaders across the organization, also will interact with the BOD at the board level.
