Who Are You?
As a Junior Design Intern for print, you will collaborate with the team on key art projects for entertainment clients. As support to the creative team, you will assist in brainstorming, photography selection and masking, curated stock and scrap exploration, as well as building client presentation decks/mood boards/look books. In addition to project support, Intern will receive weekly, direct mentorship from Creative Director, to build and evolve personal work portfolio. Mentorship to result in 1-2 poster explorations reflecting Intern’s skillsets on commercial titles relevant to the entertainment industry and gain exposure to the daily project lifecycle at a creative agency.
Skills/Experience Required
- Interested in visual storytelling for the entertainment industry, specifically streaming/TV/film print creative
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or related field
- Understanding of layout, typography, and color theory
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- Knowledge of Google Slides a plus
- Knowledge of digital and/or social creative a plus
Skills
- Clear communication and openness to feedback
- Creative problem solving
- Excellent attention to detail, especially in checking your work, taking direction, as well as file organization
- Work collaboratively with the team, even while working remote
- Ability to handle work/materials with extreme confidentiality

Subsidy Role Information
Subsidy roles require students to have an Los Angeles County based address, and be between the ages of 16-24 years old. Once you are placed in a subsidy eligible position you will be required to present the following documents to processed in a Youth Center (AJCC):
- Identification (School or State ID)
- Social Security Card (Please ensure that it is signed)
- Birth Certificate
- Proof of Los Angeles County Residency, including a postmarked date (Report Card, Transcripts, or any mail that is under the applicant’s name)
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination OR valid medical/religious exemption
- Work Permit (Required for Youth between the ages of 16-17 only)
- The Youth Center (AJCC) WILL BE PAYING YOU for 160 completed hours.
- You will be required to submit Timesheets to your YOUTH CENTER (AJCC) to be paid for your time worked.
*NOTE IF YOU WERE ALREADY PLACED IN A SUBSIDY POSITION (ACADEMY/INTERNSHIP). YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO QUALIFY FOR SUBSIDY ROLES UNTIL JULY 2025*
