Business Development Intern

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Development Intern who will act as a

liaison between Hued and potential brand partners, support the writing of content for our

monthly features, and explore funding opportunities through grants and partnerships. This role is ideal for someone who is entrepreneurial, resourceful, and eager to learn the inner workings of building partnerships and growing a startup.


What You Will Do

  • Serve as a liaison to brands, organizations, and potential partners to explore collaborations
  • Research grants, funding opportunities, and business partnerships
  • Support the preparation of grant applications, pitch decks, and partnership proposals
  • Write and edit content for Hued’s monthly features, including spotlights on industry trends, brand partners, and fashion insights
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining outreach databases for partnership and funding prospects
  • Collaborate with the founder and team to develop business growth strategies
  • Track and report on partnership conversations and funding opportunities
  • Stay updated on industry news, startup funding trends, and fashion-tech innovations


What You Should Have

  • Strong writing, editing, and research skills
  • Professional communication and relationship-building skills
  • Organized, resourceful, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently and proactively
  • Familiarity with grant writing, business development, or startup ecosystems is a plus
  • Eager to learn, take initiative, and contribute creative ideas


More Details

  • Location: Remote, with opportunities for optional hybrid collaboration (Complimentary lunches + networking opportunities within Hued’s broader startup community) in Los Angeles
  • Pay: County Subsidy Wage
  • Start date: December 1st, 2025 (Tentative)
  • Hours per week: 20
  • Duration: 8 weeks, with potential for extension (if funding allows)
