About us: Our story started in 1998: not in a boardroom, but on the job site. What began as a way to help a few friends in construction find boots that could keep up with their work, quickly turned into something bigger.

Who Are You?
Bonanza Boots® isn’t just about boots, it’s about backing the people who build our communities: one boot, one job, one worker at a time.
We’re looking for a content-obsessed individual ready to capture real stories about real people: roofers, welders, landscapers, motorcycle riders, and the founders behind the brand. This isn’t a remote, edit-from-a-couch kind of job. This is a Boots-on-the-Ground, camera-in-hand position where you'll create short-form and long-form videos that capture more than just social media content. It gives voice to the workers who keep the world running.

Shoot short-form videos for Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts

Document "Day in the Life" stories of our customers in the trades who wear Bonanza Boots® to work

Film behind-the-scenes content of our daily warehouse operations, sales team in action, and founder videos

Attend local community events, Hit the road to local events, shake hands with the real ones, and capture the Bonanza story where it lives: in the heart of the working community.
- Help us kick off long-form storytelling, including docu-style pieces, interviews, podcast-style videos, and on-location segments
Bonus
- You know how to mic someone up and shoot in natural light
- Has an eye for those blink-and-you-miss-it moments that blow up on social
You may be a fit if:
- You're a scrappy shooter who thrives in a fast-paced environment to capture engaging content
- You're comfortable talking to strangers, especially ones who build, fix, or ride
- You have video editing skills for Social Media (CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, whatever gets it done)
- You’re the type of person who says, “I'll try it” before “I don’t know how”
- Your application should include a portfolio

Subsidy Role Information
Subsidy roles require students to have an Los Angeles County based address, and be between the ages of 18-24 years old. Once you are placed in a subsidy eligible position you will be required to present the following documents to processed in a Youth Center (AJCC):
- Identification (School or State ID)
- Social Security Card (Please ensure that it is signed)
- Birth Certificate
- Proof of Los Angeles County Residency, including a postmarked date (Report Card, Transcripts, or any mail that is under the applicant’s name)
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination OR valid medical/religious exemption
- Work Permit (Required for Youth between the ages of 16-17 only)
- The Youth Center (AJCC) WILL BE PAYING YOU for 160 completed hours.
- You will be required to submit Timesheets to your YOUTH CENTER (AJCC) to be paid for your time worked.
*NOTE IF YOU WERE ALREADY PLACED IN A SUBSIDY POSITION (ACADEMY/INTERNSHIP). YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO QUALIFY FOR SUBSIDY ROLES UNTIL JULY 2025*
Position Summary
- As a Content Creator at Bonanza Boots®, you’ll hit the ground running—literally—capturing authentic, boots-on-the-ground stories of tradespeople and community builders through dynamic short- and long-form video. This hands-on role blends storytelling, filming, and fieldwork to bring the grit and pride of hard work to life across digital platforms. This is a sleeves-rolled-up, content-for-the-working-class kind of gig. If you’ve got the hustle and heart to grow with us, we want to hear from you.
