Job Order: Temporary Arizona Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster (Hybrid)

Position Title:

Temporary Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster – Arizona (Hybrid)

Location:

Can work in any of the client's office throughout the US, but must have AZ experience/certification. If office Tuesday through Thursday.

Duration:

Temporary (3–12 months with potential extension or temp-to-hire depending on assignment needs)


Position Summary

Our client is seeking Certified Arizona Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster to manage a full caseload of lost-time and/or medical-only workers’ compensation claims. .

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage an inventory of Arizona workers’ compensation claims from inception through resolution
  • Investigate claims, obtain recorded statements, and gather supporting documentation
  • Review medical reports, wage information, and compensability factors
  • Set and adjust reserves in accordance with carrier/TPA guidelines
  • Authorize and process indemnity and medical payments within authority limits
  • Coordinate with medical providers, attorneys, employers, and injured workers
  • Manage litigated claims and participate in settlement negotiations
  • Maintain diary system and ensure timely claim handling per ICA statutory deadlines
  • Document all claim activity clearly and accurately in claims management system

Required Qualifications

  • Active Arizona Workers’ Compensation Adjuster License / ICA certification (or ability to obtain immediately, if allowed by client)
  • 2+ years of Workers’ Compensation claims experience (lost-time preferred)
  • Experience handling Arizona jurisdiction claims strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of workers’ compensation statutes, medical management, and indemnity benefits
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage a fast-paced caseload independently
